How it works and next steps

My photoshoots are typically done outside or in the client's home. Booking a studio is also a great option. Let me know if you're interested in a studio session and we'll go from there.

  • 1 hour family session at the location of your choice. All of the best images will be edited and delivered in an interactive online gallery where you can download high res files and keep them forever. I also offer prints through my galleries. This can be used for newborns, families, maternity, engagements, or senior portraits.

  • This is for anything other than the core family members. Think grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. Shoots last around 1.5 hours and we will get all of the combinations of family members, including a group shot. All of the best images will be edited and put onto a digital gallery for you to download and keep.

Hi, I’m Rachel,

a Portland, Oregon family photographer. I moved to Portland in 2013 from Philadelphia, started photographing families right away, and never looked back. I live in SE Portland with my husband Brodie, our two daughters Sahalie and Mackenzie (yes named after Sahalie Falls in Central Oregon and the river it flows on), and our gigantic goldendoodle Guthrie.

Capturing the warmth within your family

I make family photography easy with my relaxed and playful approach. My shoots are simple- we let the kids be kids and follow their lead. We'll play, sing, dance, or do whatever else your kids want to do. I want you to look back on your photoshoot experience and remember how enjoyable it was. I love to photograph babies, kids, families, senior portraits, and maternity sessions. I'm based in Portland but travel around Oregon & Washington because everyone deserves beautiful photos of their family to hang in their house and cherish forever.
